Industrial Clutches and Brakes
Warner Electric manufactures hundreds of standard off-the-shelf clutch and brake models featuring electric and mechanical actuation with a torque range from a few ounce inches to 1350 pound feet. Warner Electric is also a major supplier of engineered products, custom designed for specific original equipment manufacturers.
Tension System
Warner Electric offers a comprehensive line of tension control systems for tensioning wire, film, foil, paper, corrugated paper, or steel. Several different types of electric and pneumatic brakes designed specifically for tension applications range in torque ratings from 1 oz.in. to 1785 lb.ft. Control models include simple manual adjust models through sophisticated closed loop dancer control and load cell systems.
Controls for Clutches and Brakes
Warner Electric offers a full range of clutch/brake controls to provide the user with a choice of control options from basic power supplies to simple on-off controls, adjustable torque controls, overexcitation controls for rapid engagement and accuracy, and complete closed loop position controls. All models provide the necessary DC operating voltage required for use with electric clutches and brakes; 6VDC, 24VDC, or for the common 90VDC units. Control models are available for five basic application functions with a variety of choices in terms of mounting, input voltages, and control options.
Linear Actuators and Guideways
Warner Electric provides linear actuators and guideways for a variety of applications on a wide range of mobile applications such as school buses, industrial sweepers; as well as factory applications such as lift tables, die handling racks, diverters and vent positioning. Linear actuator models are lightweight, low cost actuators designed to provide easy installation and quiet, maintenance-free operation.
